All Newells Are Welcome at Newell Rallies!

Newell FMCA Chapter membership and participation in Newell rallies are open to the owners of all Newells, regardless of where your Newell was purchased or the age of your coach. Owners of Newell Classics are encouraged to participate and enjoy.

Newell has been organizing rallies for owners of Newell motorcoaches since the mid-1970s. We have enjoyed destinations all over the North America, including Canada and Mexico. We tend to choose sites that reflect the best for the particular season, of course, with winter rallies in California or Florida, away from the cold, and summer rallies in the Rocky Mountains or other northern areas, away from the heat. We also have offered travel events (without the coaches) to Europe, Asia, and the South Pacific. For example, in September 2005, we spent ten days in Italy.

A recent rally event was our Second Annual Barrett-Jackson Auction Rally in Scottsdale, Arizona January 16 - 21, 2007. Newell has a close relationship with Barrett-Jackson, with Newell owners Karl and Alice Blade buying and selling collector cars at Barrett-Jackson for about 15 years. Barrett-Jackson owns a beautiful Newell that is part of their action scene, visible front and center, at all of their events. Last year, we organized our first official rally at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, with convenient coach parking inside the auction grounds. We sold out our available coach parking area, with 21 coaches in attendance. This year we had over thirty coaches at Barrett-Jackson.. Buying a car was not required, but our attendees ended up buying and selling several cars and motorcycles, with the entire group enjoying the excitement.

For 2007, we added some significant amenities to our auction rally. We had a Newell double skybox inside the auction tent from which the auction activities were watched and enjoyed in comfort, with meals and beverages provided throughout the event. Later in the spring, we will conduct a "wine experience" rally in Paso Robles, California. We are also finalizing details for a summer rally in Northern Michigan. In September we will offer a Newell Chapter trip to London and Dublin, a non-coach event.

Membership in the Newell's chapter of FMCA is no-charge to all Newell owners, and includes a subscription to The Newells' News newsletter. The newsletter contains upcoming rally information and registration information as well as other news regarding the Newell product.
